Sustainable viticulture 🌱🌼🌿 The best time has come to mowing in all our vineyards this flowery splendor, the green manure, before the return of rain.
A blend of legumes and herbs (including clover, vetch, rape, rye, arugula, mustard, etc.) enhances the quality and properties of the soil, including the retention of nitrogen from the atmosphere in a form that the vines can use. The subsequent formation of the mulch after mowing prevents the weeds from growing, and the following decomposition gives the soil additional organic substances.
