Venica wine. Culture and innovation
Gianni and Giorgio are two brothers who with care and passion have continued to promote the territory, cultivating with their own particular style their vineyards that exude character and culture, in one word “terroir”. Wine culture and the winemakers’ gestures, nature and innovation.
Over time, professionalism, respect for the land and history have become the living substance that has shaped the architecture of the Venica & Venica winery. Every environment effuses a seasoned beauty; the walls breathe memories and every corner reveals stories and thoughts; like the old pantry. The experience of living and surviving is tied to the pantry. Food nourishes us and leads us to each new day. Just like the door that nowadays guards this treasure [Adelchi’s Portal], precious, true to life, bare; it makes us reflect on the precarious situation of the past. Like food to the territory. A door that does not close but invites you to discover a world from which the directions of your future unfold. Walking between these walls is like affecting your sentiment, feeling your breath, embracing the emotional fabric to renew memories and remembrances at every moment.
Venica’s
From 1930 to today, through a series of harmonious generational changes, more than 90 years of passion, sacrifice and success have elapsed, in a synergistic relationship between the fascinating Collio and the constant love of the land, the vineyards and their grapes. Venica&Venica is a family enterprise with 40 hectares of vineyards all located in a D.O.C. production area called the COLLIO.

Venica wine. Past and present life interwoven
The Cellar seems to be an intertwining of past and present life where modern design and winemaking innovation conveys a concept of motivating tradition and a future stemming from the past.
Stones, wood, steel and corten steel seem to identify new means of interpretation. With their working together, Gianni and Giorgio make tradition shine through in every little detail without ever underestimating the importance of progress. Unprecedented solutions that are identified by a new portal [Gianni & Giorgio’s Portal], a dynamic artwork that, in its simple opening and closing mechanism stages a rhythmic dance of gears reflecting eternity in the present moment. Symbiosis; it cannot be otherwise – modernity governed by reason and the soul. It can only work that way. Vision and remembrance as a synthesis of a growth process.

Stones, wood, steel and corten seem to identify new interpretative codes. In synergy Gianni and Giorgio, make tradition shining in every little detail without ever underestimating the importance of evolution. Unpublished solutions that are identified with a new door, a dynamic work of art, which in the simple operation of opening and closing stages a rhythmic dance of synchronized gears in the temporal flow of the eternal moment. Symbiosis, it cannot be otherwise, modernity modulated in reason and soul, only in this way can it work. Vision and evocation as a synthesis of a growing process.
Portal of the Future
Beyond, the future awaits the new generations.
Light on new faces, ideas, projects, intuitions that walk to communicate wine in its truest identity. From the vineyard to man, the terroir as a trait d’union.
Four Generations
Time has passed since 1930, when Grandfather Daniele bought the company’s main building, giving birth to a new generation ready to consolidate its roots. Passing this threshold, the legacy of the past is enriched by new energies and new perspectives, a new era begins for Venica & Venica.

Venica’s family
The Venica & Venica winery are local winemakers in the Collio area, who appreciate and undertake to enhance their traditions through continuous research and innovation. Their production philosophy can be summarised in this way:
- Technique and organisation are not enough; the relationship with nature requires something more. We work as a team, formed over time to best understand the close tie between the environment and man.
- A harmonic, unforced relationship, from which you can only obtain the most if you apply the maximum effort.

1982
Purchase of the Jesera vineyard located at the bottom of the valley adjacent to the first body of the company; study continues to identify ideal sites for each vine.
1983
The aquisition of larger portions of land begins with 5 hectares of vineyards in location Bernizza.
1985

1987
By buying 5 hectares in location Meden, the winery increases its production of Ribolla Gialla, ancient vine from Friuli that well represents the transition from one generation to the other one.
