After harvesting, the grapes are macerated for about 18 hours at a temperature of 10/12°C in dedicated containers, protected from oxygen with innovative systems that recycle fermentation carbon dioxide, in order to minimize the use of antioxidants. The Wine

"A standout at the olfactory impact, notable for the harmonious integrity of its aroma, robust and enveloping in its allure. The impeccably crisp and dense fruit, felt to the touch, exudes an aromatic strength that conveys both the quality of the underlying raw material and the quality of enological transformation.

" Thus begins the review by Luca Maroni, author of the Annuario dei Migliori Vini Italiani guide, regarding our Traminer Aromatico wine. An elegant, highly pleasing wine, well-balanced, with a delicate and not overly intense bouquet of flowers, fruit, ginger, and subtle hints of vanilla. To embark on a new indulgent experience with spiced exotic dishes, blue-veined cheeses, and chocolate.

The vineyard and the vine

During a conference held in 2011 in Bolzano, Professor Attilio Scienza of the University of Milan, citing documents nearly a millennium old, attributes the origin of Aromatic Traminer to the Rhine Valley. Therefore, this grape variety is the result of exchanges among peoples from Alsace, Germany, and Italy, with 1500 years of genetic diversification in its history. Until recently, it was believed that Traminer wine originated from Tramin (in German) or Termeno (in Italian), a small village in the province of Bolzano considered the birthplace of this variety. However, current DNA analyses and in-depth studies by Professor Scienza have shown that this was likely a case of overlapping names. This overlap can be traced back to the medieval custom of marketing wines with the name of their place of production, regardless of the variety used to produce them. More well-known in Trentino-Alto Adige, today Traminer produces excellent wines in Friuli-Venezia Giulia as well, where it is cultivated across the entire territory.
